How To Connect NTFS File System ( USB ) with Linux

Connect USB to the system and enter this command

#udevadm monitor

Mount the usb partition

#cat /proc/paritions/
#mount /dev/sdb1

or which ever name it gives to usb device
mount: unkown filesytem type ‘ntfs’

Install epel repositories

#yum -y install epel-release-noarch

Install ntfs filesystem

#yum -y install ntfs-3g

Mount again

#mount /dev/sdb1

USB will be mounted with out any errors.
